Film Sprocket Timelines
Hand cut slide film sprocket holes, Beadalon wire & magnetic clasp at various lengths from 14″ – 30 ‘
With cutting and stringing the sprocket holes, I create a new timeline. One where the linear course of a roll of film gets reordered thereby putting a sprocket hole from a slide shot in the 50’s adjacent to one from the 70’s. Photography in time is recorded in a fraction of a second however also illustrated in these strands are the decades of time that film was the medium of record.
